Your property is one of your most valuable investments. Before you hand over your keys, review verified tenant information instead of relying on assumptions. SecureRent CMR helps property owners make better-informed rental decisions before signing a tenancy agreement.
Verify My Tenant
⚠️ The Real Reason Bad Tenants Keep Choosing Your Property.
Every landlord hopes the next tenant will pay on time and take good care of the property. Unfortunately, appearances and paperwork alone do not always tell the full story. Many landlords only discover problems after the tenancy agreement has already been signed. SecureRent CMR helps reduce that uncertainty by verifying key information before you make your rental decision.
A tenancy agreement is an important commitment for both the landlord and the tenant. Taking time to verify key information before signing can help reduce misunderstandings and support more informed rental decisions. Our goal is to provide a structured verification report so you can proceed with greater confidence.
Our process is 100% FREE for landlords because the tenant pays the small screening fee to show they are serious. We do all the hard work to ensure you receive the full report before you sign anything, so you only sign tenancy agreements with safe, high-quality individuals.
We organize and verify the information submitted during the tenant application process, helping you review applicants with greater confidence.
Receive a structured Tenant Verification Report before signing a tenancy agreement, so you can make informed rental decisions without unnecessary delays.
Reduce uncertainty by reviewing verified information instead of relying only on documents or verbal claims provided by applicants.
A tenant who stops paying rent can costs you more than just missed monthly payments. You also lose time, deal with the stress of an empty house, and have to start searching all over again. Use the calculator below to see how much money an unverified tenant can actually cost you.
Many tenancy agreements used in Cameroon are copied from old templates or contain unclear terms. A well-structured agreement helps both landlords and tenants clearly understand their responsibilities from the beginning of the tenancy.
Replace outdated or incomplete tenancy documents with a professionally prepared agreement template designed for residential rentals. Your package also includes our Move-In Property Checklist at no additional cost, helping both parties record the condition of the property before move-in.
Low Risk Profile • Secure for Rental Tenancy
The Clearance Report is a live digital tenant verification report issued after the SecureRent verification process has been completed. It is made available to both the property owner and the tenant before a tenancy agreement is signed. It helps reduce uncertainty by presenting verified information in one structured report, helping landlords and tenants make better-informed rental decisions. The report summarizes two important verification areas:
Many property owners ask: "If SecureRent verifies the tenant, do I still need to collect my Caution Fee?" Yes, Tenant verification and a security deposit/caution fee serve two different purposes, and both remain important parts of a well-managed tenancy. Here's why both matter:
Our verification process reviews the tenant's submitted information to help you make a better-informed rental decision before signing the tenancy agreement.
A security deposit/caution fee helps protect against damage to the property or other obligations outlined in the tenancy agreement. Verification does not replace the need for an appropriate deposit.
To help document the condition of your property, every verified tenancy includes our complimentary Move-In Property Checklist at no additional cost. Completing the checklist together before move-in creates a written record of the property's condition at the start of the tenancy which helps reduce disagreements over damage when the tenancy ends.
No hidden fees. Every price is flat and clear before you agree to anything.

If a tenant leaves outstanding rent or causes serious tenancy issues, you can submit a report for review. Where appropriate, verified records may be considered during future SecureRent verification checks to help property owners make better-informed rental decisions.
Send us the tenant's name, identification details, and any supporting documents relating to the tenancy. We review every submission before any record is added. Unsupported or incomplete reports are not accepted.
If the individual later applies through SecureRent, our team reviews any verified records already on file as part of the new verification process. Previous verified information may be included in the Clearance Report where relevant.
We notify you when the person has been flagged in our system. If the matter is later resolved, the individual may apply for a review. Once appropriate supporting evidence has been verified, the record will be updated in accordance with our review process.
Mistakes happen. Situations change. If your name appears in our registry and you believe the matter has been resolved, you may request a review. We examine the evidence submitted by both parties before updating any record.
Resolve the outstanding tenancy matter directly with the property owner. This may include unpaid rent, agreed repair costs, or any other obligations under the tenancy agreement.
Submit documents showing that the matter has been resolved. This may include payment receipts, bank or mobile money confirmations, or written confirmation from the property owner.
Once the review is complete, an administrative review fee may apply. If your application is approved, your SecureRent record will be updated to reflect the outcome of the review.
These are the real questions people ask before they trust something new. We answer them honestly.
